As a Global Financial Analyst you will be reporting to the Global Director FP&A and you will be supporting the managerial closing activities, budgeting and forecasting, opex controlling and any other ad-hoc analysis as requested by direct supervisor or peer FP&A roles.

In addition to that you will:
- In line with the Global FP&A charter, contribute to the Wavin set up of the financial planning and analysis function as prioritized by the Global FP&A Director with an emphasis on providing quality management information, and furthering the development of global insights for management reporting, planning, financial analysis and business intelligence activities in a later stage.
- oversee the implications of SAP ERP (R3, S4/ Hana) changes into SAP BPC and coordinates the system changes to SAP BPC to drive coherence and cohesion in the EPM infrastructure
- Be informed about and critically assess changes to Orbia Finance Point in terms of implications over Wavin EPM suite
- Drive the enhancement of SAP BPC to support an integrated planning model and consolidation of plans and well as integrated and consolidated actuals across EMEA, APAC and LATAM
- Act as system expert when it comes to uploads to and downloads from SAP BPC and Orbia Finance Point and ability to reconcile numbers
- Supporting the planning & control cycle, when it comes to consolidating EMEA, APAC and LATAM into Wavin Group structure and subsequent loads to Finance Point as well as all ancillary reconciliations between systems
- Participate in User Acceptance Tests for what concerns any new development to BPC system
- Execute standardized management reporting activities and delivering month end close packs for management’s review aligned to FP&A Global charter.
- Work closely with FP&A colleagues, regional business partners and cost controllers when it comes to providing an overall view to management about the evolution and performance of Wavin Global though means of ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Supporting and delivering additional analysis, proactively to explain abnormal variances encountered in standard decks or as requested by direct supervisor, FP&A business partners or cost controllers
- Contribute to delivery of a visually compelling story of the global numbers for budgets and forecasts
- Creating visually compelling reporting and analyses decks to tell the story of the numbers in a clear and concise way, when such on a regular basis and when ad-hoc need arises.
- Develop expertise on Business Objects to explore business intelligence advanced analytics and correlations with other business systems
Wymagania
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/ Economics or Accounting
- 5+ years of relevant experience in finance in planning and management reporting roles
- Accounting expertise and IFRS knowledge required, 3+ years
- A track record of ad-hoc and standard financial analysis
- Experience and ability to model and synthesize complex financial analysis, operational, and KPI data into concise presentations and decision framework, on a regular basis.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP suite, SAP BPC) and databases and reporting/analysis packages
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite (excel and ppt mainly)
- Proactive, able to perform in a multitasking and dynamic environment; that generates new situations, scenarios requiring quick decision making and focus on solutions; can-do attitude
- Ability to act as a business advisor on financial matters (IFRS reporting and SAP suite business systems)
- Solid financial acumen, expertise in recording, classifying, examining and analyzing financial transactions in accordance with defined regulations (IFRS) in order to provide opportunities for improvement in performance;
- Process mapping with an eye toward simplification and standardizing reporting packs and cross checking to preserve accuracy
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with acute attention to detail, accuracy and accountability balanced with educated business judgment and assertiveness.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A high sense of urgency and ability to prioritize and follow up.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt and thrive with change and complexity
- Ability to understand business drivers and create analytical decks based on Business Objects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Spanish is a plus
- Ability to develop a trusted liaison to, and relationships with, senior management.
