In this role you may be directly responsible for supporting the delivery of various medium or large value projects. Additionally, you will support the Project Manager in directly reporting to the client for projects assigned to you.

Everyone working in our team will have a proven track record of working within highly regulated environments with high safety standards and culture. Experience delivering projects in a nuclear environment (nuclear new build or nuclear power plant operations) is preferred but not essential.

Strong communication and organisational skills are a must with the ability to develop relationships and maintain effective networks and be results-focused tempered with a team-centred approach.

Obowiązki

  • Facilitate, run and chair project meetings (including regular progress meetings) as required.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including Project scope document, Quality Plans, risk and change registers, contract early warning and change control, and other documents as required.
  • Prepare service authorisations and technical specifications and support the process of contractor selection and contract placement.
  • Review and, where delegated by the Project, approve project documentation including contractor’s project documentation where applicable.
  • Support the delivery of financial and technical appraisals of project options. Where required, lead/perform feasibility studies and liaison with designers, engineers, safety case specialists, contractors and Regulators as required.
  • Manage the delivery of assigned parts of projects, jobs and tasks ensuring that the work is conducted in a safe, timely and effective manner in line with the relevant procedures.
  • Support Jacobs Project Managers to successfully deliver their assigned projects.
  • Coordinate and integrate the various functional disciplines required to deliver assigned projects.
  • Support the definition and development of future programmes of work to be undertaken by PEJ and its suppliers through the various phases of project delivery.
  • Support the required interface and interaction with client and contractor teams, including the potential deployment to work within the PEJ offices
  • Identifying, implementing, and complying with applicable technical, safety, environmental and quality standards, company procedures and policies and other relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.

Wymagania

  •      Typically, degree educated, ideally in engineering, technical, business or a related subject.
  • Minimum 7 years demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • 7 years + experience in nuclear project delivery or nuclear power plant operations is preferred but not essential
  • APMP/PMI/formal project management qualification or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
  • Preferably demonstrable experience managing projects in a regulated environment.
  • Leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Polish language knowledge will be an advantage
  • Versed in modern project management techniques within complex, multi-functional organisations; have an understanding and knowledge of engineering, design, procurement, safety case, construction and installation/commissioning management and commercial contracting
