Business Development Manager (m/f/d) Eastern and Southern Europe

Within a dynamic regional team covering Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Greece and other countries in Eastern and Southern Europe , we are looking for a Business Development Manager (m/f/d) to cover the region of Eastern and Southern Europe.
Obowiązki
- Act as a first contact point with the Raw Materials innovation and industrial ecosystems in this region
- Increase visibility in these ecosystems, particularly to the industry, Start-Ups and SMEs communities
- Promote EIT Raw Materials services (access to finance, access to markets, access to talents, access to knowledge)
- Understand partner's challenges and translate them into business opportunities provided by EIT Raw Materials.
- Ensure follow-up on services provided to partners
- Contribute to thematic events to raise our visibility in the region and beyond
- Collaborate with other Business Development Managers across areas, as well as with HQ
- Oversee innovation projects funded by EIT RawMaterials and support them towards commercialization on the market
- Scout and bring in StartUps and SMEs into EIT RawMaterials programs
- Execute Equity investments into StartUps and SMEs from the raw materials sector.
Wymagania
The candidate would need to bring on board a sound network of personal contacts in the Eastern and Southern European raw materials innovation ecosystem.
Specialization in business strategy, innovation management and business creation programs is important, with a proven track record in launching new ventures from the idea to the market and in innovation funnel management with R&D organisations and industries from start-ups to large companies. The ideal candidate holds an MSc or equivalent degree related to the raw materials value chain or business administration and management. The candidate should have past experience in business development in raw materials topics (e.g. market analysis, incubation, business model design, funding, etc.).
The position requires teamwork with excellent communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills to influence, convince, motivate, and mentor various groups and individuals. With a positive and encouraging style and approach, as well as self-motivation and good organisational and time management skills, the candidates are ready to adapt to evolving business objectives of the organization.
Fluency in spoken and written English is a requirement, and excellent knowledge of any Eastern or Southern European language is an important asset.
The candidate will be located in Poland or another country in the region of East and SouthEast Europe.
