We are looking for a talented and experienced Head of Public Relations to lead and develop our corporate public relations team. The successful candidate must possess excellent leadership qualities, with the ability to maximize the talents of their team. Reporting to the Director of External Affairs, the Head of PR will lead the development and execution of a global PR strategy and raise the global profile of Frontiers. They will quickly interpret business needs and turn them into impactful campaigns and strategies and will play a key role in managing the resources and requirements to support our policy priorities, corporate affairs and reputation management aims, media relations and public communications objectives.

Obowiązki

  • Take ownership of the public relations vision and the standard of output and processes across the team
  • Actively and continuously develop our public relations strategy based on audience analysis and stakeholder behavior
  • Work closely with senior leadership team to optimize PR’s impact and contributions to our annual goals
  • Manage all media stakeholder relations and engagement
  • Secure and manage interviews, public appearances, speaker opportunities and participation in major events
  • Collaborate with teams across the company on campaigns to enhance our profile and brand reputation
  • Refine core messaging and ensure consistent framing of messages
  • Develop a program of communications risk and issues management planning
  • Provide professional communications advice, training and support to various stakeholders, including senior leadership, directors and heads of department
  • Develop governance framework for all PR outputs
  • Define and monitor key metrics, including analytics and user research, to assess and report back on the performance and impact of PR initiatives
  • Develop team goals and objectives, monitor team performance and professional development, and conduct annual appraisals
  • Oversee the annual PR budget

Wymagania

  • BSc in PR, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or relevant field desirable
  • Five or more years of experience as a senior-level manager
  • Proven track record successfully directing a public relations department in a large or fast growing organization
  • Proven track record of impact and achievements in developing and delivering creative global communications programs (internal and external) and reputation campaigns in multiple regions
  • Excellent communication and writing skills and professional gravitas, assertiveness and confidence when engaging all audiences, from presenting to senior stakeholders to representing Frontiers in media engagements
  • Experience working across and managing regions with shared PR interests
  • Experience managing external agencies
  • Political awareness, sensitivity and judgment, and ability to recognize sensitive situations and act appropriately
  • Native fluency in English
