The HR Business Partner is part of our People Team and work across all teams and areas of our organisation. This role is critical in managing various elements of the whole employee life-cycle, contributing to innovative, state-of-the art HR solutions for the organization, and in engaging for moving on to the next phase in terms of employee support.

Obowiązki

  • Deliver meaningful and effective HR advice and support to stakeholders in EIT Climate-KIC, serving as main point of contact for complex HR matters and ensuring operational excellence alongside the entire employee cycle (entry-exit).
  • Develop a contextual understanding of gaps, challenges, opportunities, and people priorities in each team and deliver impactful and forward-looking HR solutions.
  • Maintain focus on development processes and activities related, applying developmental conversations and process improvement measures.
  • Support strategic resourcing and recruitment processes, enable excellent candidate experience in collaboration with the team, negotiate best offers, help in contracting, as well as in other parts of the requisition, based on individual needs, while monitoring standard operational procedures.
  • Prepare people data and strategic recommendations for the attention of the People Team Orchestrator and Senior Management, supported by meaningful sense making. Offer new perspectives to stakeholders, provide coaching with an ability to build capabilities, shape behaviours, and work closely with individuals at different stages of maturity/ seniority

Education

  • Relevant higher education (i.e., HR, business, psychology, organizational development)
  • Qualification/ experience in coaching
  • Non-Violent Communication exposure is a strong asset

Experience

  • 7+ years of HR experience, of which at least three years Business Partnering in a highly innovative/start-up environment; non-profit experience is desirable
  • Demonstrated experience working in a purpose driven organisation
  • Demonstrated experience working in the context of multiple European jurisdictions
  • Desirable: experience with new work-inspired HR approaches (e.g., holacracy, distributed leadership, deliberately developmental organization, Teal, Agile).

Skills

  • Fluent in English; French is desirable but not a must
  • Experience or willingness to work with collaborative IT applications (we use Office365 and Microsoft Teams, as well as Miro, Zoom, Mentimeter, etc.)
  • Reflective and good communicator
  • Passionate about people and collaboration

Candidates must have the right to work (i.e. not require visa sponsorship) in the locations mentioned prior to applying for the position. Ideally, the successful candidate will be based close to a EIT Climate-KIC office (in this case - Berlin, Bologna, Warsaw or Valencia), but we support full remote or hybrid forms of working and offer a high degree of flexibility.
