ROLE SUMMARY

The Impact Incubation Program is the world’s first incubator and accelerator program for nonprofit organisations, impact initiatives and social startups focused on transforming our global food system by reducing and replacing the consumption of animal products. Our team supports pioneering charities and social entrepreneurs to build and grow impactful organisations. The Impact Incubation Program is the not-for-profit and impact initiative partner program of the ProVeg Incubator and part of the International food awareness organisation ProVeg International.

We are currently looking for an Impact Research and Program Manager to join the new team as early as possible. In this position, you will take charge of leading the foundational research of the most impactful nonprofit and social enterprises working to reduce or replace the animal products in our food system. You will have hands-on exchange with some of the most exciting charities and social startups and founders working in the food sector globally. You will lead all scientific efforts of the Incubator, mainly regarding business models, funding models, and scout high-potential talent for future charities and will also be involved in strategic decisions regarding programme content and structure. To succeed in this position, you should have a scientific or business background, a strong understanding of nonprofits and/or social enterprises, international experience, great analytical, communication and project management skills and be passionate about working towards building a more sustainable food system with us.

JOB DETAILS

Role: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 40 hours/week

Location: Remote (ideally in the UK, US, NL, DE, PL, CZ, or ES)

Reports to: International Director of ProVeg Incubator (Albrecht Wolfmeyer)

  • Research potential new impactful interventions as well as new nonprofit and social enterprises to create and maintain an overview of high-potential ideas and talent.
  • Help develop the curriculum, budget, and schedule of the Impact Incubation Program.
  • Support and manage the programme for participants and mentors.
  • Create and curate a wide network of high-profile potential social entrepreneurs and startups and recruit potential founders and program participants.
  • Help build capacity by coaching and supporting impact initiatives, social enterprises or organisations on fundraising, governance and strategy.
  • Evaluate the success and measure the outcome and impact of the Incubator and its generated programmes.
  • Support and represent the program by attending conferences, networking with organisations, mentors, investors, experts, etc.
  • Act as the interface between ProVeg and the Incubator to create access to ProVeg network and services to the founders, charities and social enterprises.

Wymagania

REQUIRED

  • Proactivity, and thinking creatively to generate original and relevant ideas to continuously improve the incubation and acceleration programme.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, planning, time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience working with or in nonprofit or social startups.
  • At least two years of experience in programme or project management, ideally at an incubator/accelerator, research institution, a social startup or a nonprofit organisation.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English, other languages, especially German, are an additional asset.
  • An outgoing and confident personality to be able to network effectively and to represent the incubator and ProVeg with professionalism.
  • Passion for working towards building a more sustainable food system.

PREFERRED

  • Experience in having founded and/or led a not-for-profit organisation or substantial program within an existing organisation.
  • Degree in research, business or nonprofit management, or related field.
