Installation Support & Training LEAD

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our European Installation Team and support the team in training technicians and further developing technical competencies as well as supporting supervisors in implementing lean principles on site. The position can be located anywhere in Europe as long as you can join our office in Stettin and our sites in Europe. This position is reporting to the Operations Director of Installation in Denmark.  

The role of Installation Support & Training is responsible and accountable for:

1) training of site management

2) supporting the implementation of LEAN principles on site

3) supporting resource planning

The role is working closely together with the Operations Director Installation, Resource Planner, Project Manager and Back Office Team

Installation Support & Training Lead will be working on a daily basis on sites and from office in Poland or Denmark.

Training

• Coaching and supporting site management in preparing and executing training of new supervisors and project coordinators on site
• Training of technicians on site
• Responsible for conducting Lessons Learned meetings together with the project management team and sharing best practices across sites
• Supporting the supervisors in the implementation of the LEAN principle on site

Support

• Providing relevant advice and support to Resource Planner in setting the best team of technicians, considering the ambition to organize diverse teams and the project margin
• Provide support in building Core Teams
• Provide relevant advice and support to Resource Planner in building an overview of all technician's qualifications to be able to create CVs
• Participate in the optimisation of the Resource planning tool or identifying a new tool
• Support Training in identifying relevant training and optimising training costs
• Support Operations Director Installation in evaluating technicians and supervisors

General

• Knowledge and experience as a technician in wind turbine installation (minimum one year)
• Knowledge of LEAN will be an asset
• Degree in a related field (e.g. Bachelor of Engineering, Commercial)
• Fluent English is required
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Driver license B
• Great communicator, must be able to explain technical concepts in terms in a clear and motivating way
• Interpersonal skills, like to work together with a diversity of people
• Coaching skills
