As a Media and Marketing Investment Strategist at OLX Poland , your responsibilities will encompass comprehensive planning, buying, and optimization of all media assets for the OLX Poland brand. You will be tasked with providing recommendations on where our marketing investments will yield the most significant results and measuring the impact of our activities on key business metrics and brand strength. In essence, this role's primary and fundamental objectives will revolve around taking full ownership of optimising media procurement and effectively articulating and aggregating the outcomes of our initiatives. Your role will necessitate close collaboration with various stakeholders, including members of the marketing team, commercial leaders, external agency networks, media house, analysts, finance, CRM team, procurement team and performance team. Additionally, you will play a vital role in advancing the EU marketing transformational agenda by introducing, just to start with, a standardised measurement framework to assess success and attribute the impact of marketing investments plus support in the field of media auditing in chosen countries. The ideal profile for this role is someone who excels in collaborating with colleagues, identifies new opportunities for brand growth, and can clearly articulate the potential impact of various marketing actions during the decision-making phase. This position reports to the Marketing Director at OLX Poland and holds a senior position within the marketing team.

What responsibilities will you get when working with us?

You will be responsible for creating a media strategy that effectively supports OLX's business priorities and brand plans in Poland.
You will take ownership of developing annual media plans for the OLX brand in Poland, as well as executing media purchases, optimising ongoing campaigns, and summarising activities. This scope encompasses managing various media channels, including TV, outdoor, radio, digital (e.g. Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, TikTok, Linkedin), and non-standard initiatives.
You will have complete responsibility for OLX PL's entire media budget.
Your role will involve presenting data-driven recommendations on where our marketing investments will yield the greatest results.
You will adopt and facilitate the adoption of a standardised measurement framework to assess success and attribute the impact of marketing investments through data analysis and visualisation.
You will be responsible for conducting annual audits of in-house media activities with an independent external auditor.
Your responsibilities will include the research component of our initiatives, measuring the impact of our marketing actions on key business parameters (TMROI/MMM, testing our communication strategies, analysing digital data to understand user intent and trends, and exploring new avenues for more robust measurement of our business activities).
You will provide clear guidance and support to team members and agencies on how to create engaging content that aligns with brand image indicators and is a perfect fit for selected media communication channels.
You will excel in stakeholder management, periodically reporting progress against the goals and KPIs defined for the OLX brand in Poland to important stakeholders, including GMs, CMO, and CEO, with a focus on clear articulation of impact and outcomes.
You will collaborate closely with the OLX PL marketing team, other international marketing teams, local commercial functions in Poland, and senior stakeholders within the OLX Group to build and enable marketing capabilities that are a crucial component of creating real, tangible, and measurable business value.
You will be asked to drive continuous improvement by adopting an experimental approach to discover new opportunities, both in media buying and in measuring impact.

Wymagania

What do you need to be successful in this role?

You possess 8+ years of extensive experience and a profound understanding of the broad media landscape, encompassing both strategy and execution.
You have a track record of effectively managing substantial marketing budgets exceeding 30+ million PLN.
Your expertise spans econometrics, digital marketing, analytics, business development, growth and strategy.
Your innate ability enables you to articulate the impact of a brand through meticulous analysis. You have hands-on experience with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) with a unique capability to transform intricate data into insights that steer brand and media strategies.
You have a proven track record in managing brands, showcasing tangible brand and business impact in previous roles.
Your enthusiasm and dedication to Brand Marketing are unwavering, and you stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices.
You are well-accustomed to operating in matrixed or other intricate environments and can navigate with a high degree of adaptability.
Your communication skills are exemplary, allowing you to convey a clear, concise, and straightforward narrative within the organisation.
As an empathetic leader in your area of expertise, you possess the ability to inspire and build an effective, high-performance environment centred around data-driven decision-making processes that demonstrate real impact on both business and brand.
Your mindset is resilient, and you exhibit strong determination to accomplish tasks and objectives.
