PAID INTERNSHIP IN SPATIAL PLANNING AND GIS TEAM

We are looking for a fellow intern to join the Spatial planning and GIS Team at Ignitis Renewables Polska and help us take care of the Project development and innovation implementation in the Renewable Energy Sources sector.

Our team is focusing on developing renewable energy projects throughout whole project lifecycle, analyzing and applying new technologies and solutions in the renewable energy sector. Our key areas of interest are Wind energy, Solar energy, energy storages and hybrid installation.

• Land analysis of the possibility of implementing investments throughout Poland and provide insights
• Analysis and knowledge of planning documentation (study of conditions and directions of spatial development and local spatial development plan)
• Create and develop spatial database to improve analytical model
• Participate in current projects realization
• Visit and gather knowledge of wind farms in operation and under construction
• Visit and gather knowledge of PV farms in operation and under construction
• Obtain knowledge about technological solution of wind, PV and energy storages sectors.

• Have knowledge about GIS tools
• Have good analytical and critical thinking skills
• Are a fast learner
• Have good knowledge of English and Polish languages
• Are interested in the field of energy and want to get to know it more.

• Will contribute towards creating the Energy Smart world
• Will experience modern technologies and equipment
• Will learn to use GIS tool in practice
