Purchasing Specialist for Operation and Maintenance

As a Purchasing Specialist for Operation and Maintenance you’ll be working closely with the O&M project team across all the countries; Poland, Lithuania and Estonia to support from the supply chain  purchasing & contracting prospective existing and new wind onshore and PV solar assets on their 3rd party needs . You will be co-developing and implementing regional and global supply chain activities for Onshore Renewables projects in Baltics to meet local content commitments, ensuring operation and maintenance of the assets.

• Establishment of Operation and Maintenance Category and co- develop the strategy – cross Baltic and Poland
• Working with the suppliers required for Asset management and Project Managers colleagues in the regions
• Leverage and managing major supplier relationships improving commercial and service delivery
• Improve total costs of ownership
• Negotiates contracts, leading sourcing activities including benchmarking
• Take lesson learnt from the existing assets maintenance into the new projects
• Willingness to travel

• Degree in (Supply Chain) Management, Legal, Logistics, Engineering or similar field
• Have a track record of 2 years working in the supply chain/ procurement team
• Professional CP qualification: CIPS / CPSM Certification (or similar) is an added Value
• Experienced in negotiations, creating solutions and delivering value for the business
• Demonstrate understanding of the commercial contract management technique and procurement process
• Experience in implementation of ERP’s and e-sourcing platforms
• Organized and able to manage competing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Lithuanian and Polish
• Excellent ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers and customers.
