Renewable Energy Senior Project Manager

Enefit Green is a rapidly growing renewable energy company belonging to the Estonian energy group Eesti Energia, operating in the Baltic countries and Poland. Enefit Green is an investor who develops and implements projects for its own portfolio, which is possible, among others: thanks to cooperation with other group entities and a strong position on the stock exchange.
Currently, the company's portfolio includes 1.5 GW of renewable energy sources. The company's ambition is to quadruple its project portfolio by 2030, including in Poland to 500 MW in photovoltaics and 500 MW in onshore wind farms.
Obowiązki
- Introducing new solar energy development projects and managing existing ones;
- Provide a review of local regulations, national development plans (including subsidies), potential partners, competitors, other developers, and market characteristics to identify the most attractive solar investments, cable bonding, and direct line opportunities;
- Analyzing various portfolios and projects suitable for development and participating in the acquisition process;
- Mapping potential greenfield projects, preparing and ranking the most promising projects in terms of profitability, schedule, and size;
- Conducting business analysis and negotiating solutions in the field of hybrid parks (wind-solar) and direct PV lines;
- Planning of photovoltaics development projects (including time frames, risks, budget and finances, staffing);
- Carrying out the necessary project selection, due diligence, and portfolio assessment;
- Preparing and updating financial models for the most promising projects;
- Organizing permitting or land-related activities to obtain all necessary permits/approvals required.
- Organizing various orders necessary in the development process;
- Preparing necessary contracts and conducting negotiations with potential partners;
- Coordinating the exchange of information and cooperation with contractors, local governments, developers, investors, etc. Project implementation/execution
- Preparing the project for the final investment decision, managing and coordinating the project during the implementation phase;
- Preparing regular project status reviews and updating documentation.
Wymagania
- University degree in technical or economics, preferably in the field of energy, renewable energy, and networks;
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in conducting solar energy development projects in Poland;
- Knowledge of local business and business culture. The candidate should have good knowledge of the local renewable energy business and know what development activities (including permitting, project acquisition, and implementation) are organized in Poland;
- Project management. The candidate should have previous experience in managing renewable energy projects or have a leading development team. The added value will be an international project management certificate;
- Good knowledge of local regulations. The candidate should have good knowledge of renewable energy, construction, planning, administration, and other regulations that would be necessary for the evaluation and development of the project;
- Mindset orientation. The candidate should be able to easily establish business relationships, conduct negotiations, and gain favor and sympathy from the environment;
- Team management and development. The candidate should be a team player, able to support team members in their development and lead when necessary;
- Language knowledge: Polish - C2/native; English - minimum C1;
- Computer skills, MS Office suite, added value is knowledge of PV Syst or PVSol;
- Driving license.
