Senior Engineering Manager - Cloud Platform

EcoVadis is seeking a motivated Cloud Platform Engineering Manager to join our growing product engineering team. The Cloud Platform Engineering Manager is responsible for the good functioning and performance of the team, from both an individual and collective view as well as for driving the team to meet challenging business goals.
The Cloud Platform Engineering Manager is also responsible for the quality of what the team delivers, and must therefore introduce good practices for various aspects of the job. You will collaborate with other engineering managers to ensure efficient development processes and optimal platform state.
Obowiązki
Some of the responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Build, mentor, and grow a team of 6-8 engineers;
- Drive internal changes toward operational excellence;
- Set clear expectations and create a positive work environment;
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities;
- Coordinate and communicate seamlessly across engineering and product leadership teams;
- Follow an evidence-based approach when making decisions;
- Maintain an ongoing overview of staffing and teams technology capabilities;
- Work closely with tech leaders, promoting craftsmanship, availability and scalability;
- Identify and manage risks throughout the product development process.
Wymagania
- 8+ years in software/system/cloud engineering;
- 3+ years as an engineering leader/manager;
- Excellent communication skills including mentoring, coaching and conflict handling;
- Experience and passion for hiring, growing and guiding people;
- Experience working in Agile environments;
- Good understanding of cloud platforms (preferably Azure experience);
- Good understanding of CI/CD (preferably Azure DevOps experience);
- Self-driven and team player;
- Ability to work well in an international and multicultural environment in a fast-growing company;
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English (C1/C2).
