Junior Green Transition Officer : Half-time Job

• To backstop on-going development & technical assistance projects throughout EaP, MENA, Turkey, South East Asia and Southern Africa (SA and Namibia).
• To assist in on-going public-donor fund-raising effort: development of the grant proposals (or its parts), under a senior staff guidance.

• Proficient English writer: proficiency in writing: ability to produce good quality formal and informal English content independently & creatively.
• Availability: 25 h per week: NO spread too thin;
• Proficiency in Polish/French/ Spanish / Portuguese an extra advantage, though not required;
• BA diploma/ BA graduate;
• MA students / early graduates preferred;
• Interest & grasp of one or more of the focal areas : EaP/ Eastern Europe, Southern Africa, Turkey, MENA, South East Asia;
• Keen and tangible interest in praxis of sustainable rural/ urban development, green micro-entrepreneurship/ green-tech, climate change adaptation/ mitigation and its social/economic/ecological nexus;
• Precision and self-organization;
• Ability to produce analysis of qualitative and quantitative data;
• Ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms;
• No previous project management required, however being a distinctive advantage;
• Partial offline presence in Warsaw or its metropolitan area NON-NEGOTIABLE;
• Willing & keen & able to travel outside the EU: a valid passport;
• Start: the early August 2023;

• MIXED REGIME: 25 h per week in total, largely home-office based: 80% of the workload;
• Flexible schedule, task/assignment-based formula;
• Decent compensation: depending on profile & experience & commitment: of AT LEAST 1000 EUR or 4500 PLN NET per month (CLEAR/TAXED), under 2 months probation contract;
